TGIF?
7:49 PM
Since staring at the stack of econs notes doesn't help get anything into my head, i thought i would just spend a little while writing an entry, after which i don't know when will be the next.
Time sure flies. One moment it was just Monday. Now, it's already freaking Friday. Omg. I can't stand the speed at which time passes. At the start of the week i was thinking "Ok, go slow.. There's still time." Now, i'm like "Shit. It's Friday. Tomorrow's Saturday.. and then Sunday.. and fuck! It's Monday, the start of prelims."
Basically, i think the September holidays was disappointingly not enriching at all. Yes, i've been through the stacks and stacks of notes. But how much have i actually learnt? Not much. ARHHH!
I'm seriously freaking out. The prelims start on Monday which means the A levels are coming right up. I feel so unprepared and god knows how i'm gonna do well. Yah yah.. Many will start saying "Aiyah, always say then in the end still do so well." Like what a classmate once told me "You always don't have a good feeling but still can score."
-.-" "still do so well.."? Er, i'm quite sure that hasn't been the case, at least recently.
Anyway, the rate and pace at which many classmates are progressing with their revision is really scaring the wits out of me. Sometimes to the extent that i'm disgustedly irked by them. Not jealous or being sour grapes or whatever, but just... err.. yah, you know what i mean. Their frequent info-hungry frenzies freaks me out. Totally.
One classmate once told me.. "Oh no la, it's cos i study so much slower than you all.."
-.-" Err... ok..
Guess i really need to buck up.
School hasn't been enjoyable at all, as it has always been the case. Sometimes being too much of a Mr Nice Guy gets you no where. There's this classmate of mine who just can't take care of his things responsibly, let alone other people's stuff. His past time is to lose things and i really wonder if he'll lose himself someday.
Quite a long time ago, this Mr I borrowed my chemistry notes just 2 days before the lecture test and i got it back from another friend who found it lying around in some classroom. I was so pissed then that i clearly told him to find someone else if he needs anything in future.
But soon after.. I just somehow forgot the incident and continued lending him stuff when he requested. Yes. Stupidity got me into trouble again. My econs revision notes went missing in his hands and he had the cheek to come to me to say..
"Er, Melvin. Have you gotten back your notes?"
MLTR: Er. No. Mr I: Er, sorry ah. I think i lost it. I think i left it somewhere in the canteen.
Omg. If it wasn't during a lecture i would have screamed and shouted and told him off straight away.
He offered to photocopy his set of notes for me but what's the whole point? His notes are blank and empty and as good as nothing. Argh. I'm really firm on not being nice to him anymore.
Lost the trust. But gained the wisdom.
It's so true that the more you know someone, the more flaws you see. Same for things going on in school. So much back-stabbing, bad-mouthing, gossiping blah blah.. On the surface, it looks oh so lovely. But look deeper and observe longer, it isn't the nice wonderland we all think it is.
Some habits can sure annoy me to the core. Some words and comments can really piss me off. Some actions leave me staring in disbelief.
Some think they're oh so mighty. Some love ordering others around. Some just think that everyone else owes him/her a living.
Some behaviours are just plain sickening. Some can't stop contradicting themselves. Some say something and do another.
Some just love pushing anything that they can't be bothered with to someone else. Some can't get the stupid mentality that "class reps are supposed to settle everything" out of their thick numbskulls, just as though admin heads/secretaries take charge of pens/pencils/papers and everything that comes out of the printer. Argh. Stupid. Dumb. Misconceptions.
Oh shit.
I've just spent the last 40 minutes on the above.
Shit.
Er, till then..
Bye. |
