The past week

MY EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY
Met up with Kheng May, Ili and Cabbage on Sunday night for a meal at Fish and Co. Did lots of catching up and they passed me their gift. Got cards and a t-shirt from them. =)
My eldest bro bought a bakerzin cake and rushed home after work. My cousin and auntie happened to pop by too. So extra 2 red packets other than the two that my parents and bro/sis-in-law gave.
Got a birthday card from Adeline in the mail that night. Thanks Adeline! No wonder you asked for my address the week before. ;)
Received some tidbits and snacks from my classmates. The day after my birthday, 14 classmates shared a bought me a deuter bag. Heard that it isn't cheap. Really nice of them.
It was really a rather memorable 18th birthday.
Thanks for all the well wishes, SMSes, email greetings, e-cards etc etc! Really appreciate all of them.

A*STAR STUDENT RESEARCH ATTACHMENT PROGRAMME CLOSING CEREMONY
Finally the whole A*STAR attachment thingy is over. It was really great meeting my attachment friends again.

Had Chemistry SPA yesterday and after it was over, the teacher went..
"The girls can take your bags and leave the lab, the guys stay behind."
"You all are going to the army soon, and you all can't even follow instructions blah blah.."
I didn't have any screw ups, no major ones at least. Some of the girls had mistakes too. Ok la, but i admit, the guys screwed up more than the girls.
But seriously, what's with the double standard? -.-"
Yes yes. Because the guys are going to the army soon. Yes.
Gotta be extra careful for the next practical. We will be watched. Real closely. =x
