JJC Orientation 2006 - Kaleidoscope of Life

Yes, i'm back from the orientation camp. Was quite fun but rather tiring. Got back home ytd at about 2pm. And went to nap from 4pm till about 2am+ this morning. Woke up to use the net, had some snacks and realised that i had a super terrible headache. So went back to slp at about 3am+.
Woke up this morning and the headache is still there. Argh. It's like my head is so heavy and it's gonna split any time. -.-"
Ok, back to the orientation.
Got the pic from the orientation tee.
Day 1.
Got to know my OG mates and OGLs. We had 4 OGLs and i have this feeling that a particular one of them is purposely picking on me. Although it isn't really obvious but i can feel it. Argh, damn that ass la.
Played the stupidest ice-breaking game ever. We all had to sit in a circle and starting from someone, he or she has to say like.. example i'm Melvin. So i'll have to say "M____ Melvin". M_____ = An adjective starting with M. Had to go one whole round and the last person will have to say all. Was damn sian la.
Had games. Something like treasure hunt la. Get clue, then go to the place, find another clue, get the things blah blah. You get the idea. Then all the teams gathered and using the items that we collected during the "hunt". We have to act out a scenerio given to us. Ok, seriously. It's damn damn stupid. Like almost 20 groups. Acting out similar things. Who won't be sian? And so many times will "leng chang".
Then we had mass dance. For the whole camp, i think we learnt a total of 9 mass dances. Some damn fun, some quite sian.
The night game was so tiring. Had to run here and there. Something like snakes and ladders. Roll a dice, move to a grid, see ur task, run to the place, finish task, run back hall, roll dice again, .. and it goes on until u manage to reach grid 100.
Slept in the hall for the first night. Was quite cold but luckily i had my slping bag with me. Lots of ppl were damn childish la. Still play with laser pointer and torch light. Ok, but my slp wasn't that bad.
Day 2.
Started off the day with telematch. Everyone got wet and dirty. Was quite fun and everyone was so high. Then went to learn mass dance again. In the afternoon, we played world of combat. Woah, it's even worse. Flour, soap, papaya, banana, mud, water, and lots more stuff. My clothes got really disgusting. Think my mum had a super hard time washing them ytd.
At night was JJ NIGHT!! Woah, really lived up to its expectations. The moment we stepped into the hall, we all already got the feeling. The place was decorated until very nice. They had helium balloons all the way up to the ceiling and with light sticks tied to them. Super nice.
Had lots of fun during JJ night. Songs, dances, cheers. The mass dance part was super high. Towards the back, it started to get emotional. When we sang our batch song - "Westlife - That's Where You Find Love". People starting crying, hugging each other etc.

Slept in the classroom for the 2nd night. Woah, super cold. A few of us slept (including me), while the other guys talked abt girls.
Day 3.
Yay! Go home day. In the morning, we had another rather dumb activity. We were given a ball of raffia string, then someone had to start by thanking the people, and to someone specifically and pass on the string to that person. Heng, i wasn't the last. But was somewhere towards to back la. Lol. Kinda sia suay. Then the string gets passed on and on and on.. then it'll form a web. They call it the "E-web".. emotional web. Woah!!! z. -.-"
Whatever la. Then we'll have to lower the "web" onto the floor. Then the OGL was saying "Look at it. You are directly or indirectly related and bonded to another OG mate. This bond even when after u leave the camp, u must still remember.. blah~ After this, we'll cut this string up into 26 equal parts and each of u will keep one part."
Er..
Ok la. Meaningful but it's just a raffia string. -.-" Maybe they cld have gotten something else.
Then went to the hall for debrief. The teacher while giving the debrief started to thank so many ppl. Then it got emotional again. Sang the batch song again and some ppl cried again.
Then it all ended. =)
Orientation camp wasn't as bad as i thought it wld be. Had a rather fun but tiring 3D2N.
