Conjunctivitis
8:21 PM
I'm stuck at home for these 2 days. I've got conjunctivitis, or the more commonly known "sore eyes".
My bro started having the symptoms on Saturday and went to see a doctor on Sunday.
On Monday, i started having the same symptoms on my left eye. Pus discharging from the corners of the eye, redness, itching, slight pain and discomfort blah blah blah. Seen a doctor on Monday, got an MC for 3 days.

From wikipedia: Viral conjunctivitis is often associated with an infection of the upper respiratory tract, a common cold, or a sore throat. Its symptoms include watery discharge and variable itch. The infection usually begins with one eye, but may spread easily to the fellow eye.
Sure enough. I woke up this morning with both eyes infected.
-.-" Just merely opening my eyes has never been such a chore before. Hope it heals quickly and hopefully, i'll be back in school on Thursday.

On to happier things!
I've been winning quite a number of contests lately. All thanks to my eldest bro's constant effort in sending out all the contest entry forms etc.

"The Dead Girl" movie tickets from Moviexclusive. It was still during the prelim period so my bro went instead. He said the movie sucked. So thankfully i didn't go.
"Home Song Stories" movie tickets from 8 days. Bro collected but i think it's still with him.
Swensens vouchers from Suntec City.
Nivea Good-bye Cellulite from U Weekly. "No. 1 Best Selling Anti-Cellulite Gel in France and Italy".. Hmm, i wldn't be needing it. Maybe my eldest bro needs it more. =x
"The Drummer" movie tickets from Movieclusive. I can't step out of the house with that conjunctivitis thingy that i'm having. To my bro again.
From Yahoo Singapore: A movie that combines the stunning art of Chinese drumming with Triad dealings? This compelling story follows Sid, a reckless rascal who is raised in a Hong Kong triad family. He flees to Taiwan upon enraging a mob boss. Hiding out in the mountains, he encounters and joins a group of drummers whose mesmerising art, rigorous physical training, and austere way of life eventually transform him into an extraordinary young man. Sid's independence from the triad life is profoundly challenged, however, when a twist of fate awaits him back home in Hong Kong and forces him to choose between loyalty to his family and his new found faith in himself.
Taiwan Noodle Stuff and Sauce hamper thingy from U Weekly. Err.. I seriously have no idea what the heck this is. My bro sends out contest entries for anything and everything. The collection area is all the way in Toa Payoh. I've been there once and it's really quite a long walk from the MRT station. Hmmm, should i or shouldn't i?
Yay! Winning stuff makes me happy! (:
Take care everyone! |
