Lately..

And so.. i went back for Fuhua's 8th Annual Speech and Prize Giving Day last Wednesday.
Nothing really special about it though. Thought i would be receiving some prize or something since they invited me back. But just as i've guessed, they invited me back just to grace the occasion.
The parade wasn't really fantastic. The scouts parade marker got the wrong timing the moment he came out from the back. Bangings weren't really syncronised. And i heard that one of the NCC GOH guy puked onto Mrs Yip's shoes just moments after the guest of honour walked past him during the GOH inspection. But i wonder why i didn't see it. Maybe cos i was busy chatting with Mr Lee KW at the back of the hall.
The concert was also just the usual stuff. Nothing really special.
I think holding the speech day in the morning isn't a really good idea. It's less grand as compared to speech day being held in the evening. Everything is like so "any-o-how-ish" done. All the students will also be seated in the hall, making the whole scene super messy. Only a pathetic number of guests will attend the morning speech day.
Seriously, i think the school should shift speech days back to the evenings. Hmmm, i think i should feedback someday.

Went "sao mu"-ing this morning. It's been years since i went along with my parents. The whole family went, together with one of our cousins. First to the chinese cemetry then to CCK columbarium.
Er, nothing much to talk about.

Time to get back to work. I took like 4-5 hours just to complete one chemistry tutorial. OMG.
I'm so damn slow.
It's gonna be a long night. |
