JJC 25th Anniversary Dinner

I missed many of the meetings for student helpers cos i was having the A*STAR attachment thingy for 5 weeks.
The teacher in charge wanted to see me on 28 Dec at 10pm. I thought it was just gonna be a short meeting but i was terribly wrong.
The teacher assigned me the job of ushering/escorting one of the VIPs, superintendent of W6 cluster or something like that. Omg. Her seat is just beside the GOH Mr Lim Boon Heng so i suppose she should be quite a big shot.
So after briefing me on what i supposed to do..
"Hmm, so you just hang around with these people until 11.30am then go for the prize presentation rehearsal in the hall. Then after that, the bus will leave at 2.30pm and bring you all to suntec."
"Oh. You mean today?"
"Yah."
And so i went to suntec. Spent the whole day there for the rehearsal. Did nothing much. Wasted lots of time. Practically did nothing from 3-6pm. Left only at about 7.30pm on Thursday. Missed the dinner gathering cos of this. zz.
Reached school at 12pm on the actual day (29 Dec) to draw my blazer then left for suntec. As usual, slacked around a lot.
Hmmm, the whole event was rather messy. 127 tables, thousand over people. Saw many familiar faces. Was super tiring. Left the place at 11.30pm. Rushed to catch the last train home.
Er. That's all.
Suddenly lost the urge to blog. =x |
